How to Screen Record on Mac Using Screen Capture Tool in MacOS Mojave You can record your entire screen or a selected part of it using the screen capture tool baked into macOS. The screen capture tool was added in September 2018 as part of the new features that came with macOS Mojave operating system. Chrome Audio Capture is a Chrome extension that allows users to capture any audio playing on the current tab. Multiple tabs can be captured simultaneously. Captures can be saved as either.mp3 or.wav files. Users will have the option to mute tabs that are currently being captured.
- To take a screenshot, press and hold these three keys together: Shift, Command, and 3.

Where to find screenshots
By default, screenshots save to your desktop with the name ”Screen Shot [date] at [time].png.”
In macOS Mojave or later, you can change the default location of saved screenshots from the Options menu in the Screenshot app. You can also drag the thumbnail to a folder or document.
